All about the chef

Bronek Korwin-Kamienski, the owner and Head Chef at Bronek's Delicatessen, has a high pedigree when it comes to the creation of dishes from all over the world.

Bronek's background is Polish and his love of cooking came from helping his mother in the kitchen. After working in a friend's pub he went to college, gaining qualifications in Catering, and then worked for a number of years in the West Country in a variety of seafood restaurants and hotels. Upon returning to London in the mid 1990's Bronek took positions as Head Chef in a number of establishments before taking over the shop in Ealing with a view to expanding the business to include homemade foods and outside catering.

In the midst of all this Bronek found time to lecture and teach on University Catering courses in the London area, and was voted Fairfield's Chef of the Year in 1997.

Bronek's personal interests include deep sea fishing, real ale and renovating his ex-army Landrover.
